We are adjusting our pricing structure. We are lowering our in-shop rates and slightly raising our on-site rates. Part of the reason for the change is that we have 2 full time Microsoft Certified System Engineers and Microsoft Certified Server Administrators and will have 4 Microsoft Certified Professionals on staff. This collective knowledge base and experience allows us to efficiently serve you in the most cost and time effective manner.

We randomly surveyed our clients before we decided to raise our service rates starting August 1st, 2007 (immediately for new clients as of July 20, 2007). We explained that the cost of keeping up with the latest technology is rising again and that we could hold our rates only if we dropped our service quality and level of knowledge. We also explained that with the cost of fuel rising to unprecedented levels, we have no choice but to change our policy and add a small travel and destination fee.

Much to our surprise (and delight), more than 80 percent of the respondents said that they would prefer a “moderate” increase in rates to a decrease in service quality, “A company devoted to the quality, service, and professionalism,” said one, “is dependent on knowing and having the latest technology.” That was representative of the overall response.

We are adjusting according to the chart below (this is still below the current rates of up to $150 per hour of some of our competitors with less knowledge and experience). We still believe that people should get quality, professional, and knowledgeable service at a reasonable rate. But we’re giving you an opportunity to start a new project. If we receive a project from you prior to August 1st, we’ll honor the current per hour rate for that project.
